Being the key components to our full delivered solutions develop through our project engineering and manufacturing division. Ex-tech has a large range of Exd and Exe enclosures, Junction boxes, control stations, motor starters, switches and much more. We pride ourselves on being a leading provider in conversion of industrial machinery for hazardous area applications, some of our developments in this segment has led to many standard industrial products being Ex certified, as a world first. Ex tech manufacture Audio and visual Signalling devices for industrial and hazardous area.
Innovation for over 40 years
Being an Innovator in the industry allows us to liaise with companies in development stage on Ex design and solution optimization of their products. Our founder and technology director Ingulf Egeland gives due to his experience and competence a different approach than most, when it comes to design for explosive atmospheres: “We quite often see substantial effect the companies have by using our expertise in an early phase of product development, and they are often surprised by the impact we can have on their design concerning Ex protection principles as well as weight, size and manufacturing cost of their products by sparring with us on their solution. We always look at Explosion protection principles openly and using our more than 40 years’ experience to create innovative and future oriented solutions for our customers”. Our broad experience for applications and tailor made solutions within all Ex protection methods results in timely deliveries, always in accordance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Ex-tech Group and its subsidiaries in France and Norway have a long tradition in working closely with the industry, and in close partnership with some of the largest EPC, system houses, machine builders around the world. Our portfolio is developed to cover the vast majority in what the market demands and require. A large part of our product and solution delivery goes to the Chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industry.
